Healing Through
Tradition

Ancient Healing,
Modern Care.
At Hijamah, we believe that true healing addresses the root cause, not just the symptoms. For centuries, wet cupping has been utilised to restore balance to the body, removing stagnant blood and toxins to allow your natural vitality to flourish.
"The best of your treatments is cupping (Hijamah)."
— Prophet Muhammad ﷺ · Sahih Bukhari 5371

What We Offer
Every session is tailored to your individual needs, ensuring targeted relief and holistic well-being.
Our signature therapy. Small superficial scratches are made on specific points, and cups draw out toxic, stagnant blood to restore flow.
By removing metabolic waste from deep tissue, cupping therapy cleanses the cardiovascular system and boosts organ function.
Highly effective for chronic back pain, migraines, and muscular tension. Releases tight fascia and reduces inflammation.
The negative pressure of the cups stimulates fresh, oxygenated blood flow to areas that are stiff or healing.
Regular sessions strengthen the immune system and promote long-term vitality before illness takes root.
We assess your unique physical and energetic state before mapping the precise cupping points for your treatment.

Hijamah Aftercare: How to Look After Yourself
What you do in the hours and days after your session is just as important as the session itself. A complete guide to recovery.
Hijamah is an ancient Islamic therapeutic practice involving the placement of cups on the skin to create suction. Small, superficial incisions are made on specific points, and the cups draw out a small amount of stagnant blood. This promotes fresh blood flow, reduces inflammation, and supports the body's natural healing process.
Most patients describe the sensation as a mild pulling or tightening, similar to a deep-tissue massage. The scratches are very superficial and brief. Any discomfort passes quickly, and many patients feel deeply relaxed during and after the session.
Hijamah is suitable for most adults, including those experiencing chronic pain, fatigue, migraines, digestive issues, or stress. We recommend a brief consultation before your session so we can assess your suitability, particularly if you are pregnant, have a blood disorder, or are on blood-thinning medication.
A typical session takes between 45 minutes and 1 hour, including consultation and aftercare advice. We never rush the process. Your comfort and wellbeing are the priority.
We recommend eating a light meal 2–3 hours before your session and staying well hydrated. Avoid heavy exercise on the day of treatment. Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to your back and shoulders.
Keep the cupped areas covered and dry for 24 hours. Avoid cold water, air conditioning, and vigorous exercise on the day of treatment. Drink plenty of water to help the body flush out toxins. Mild bruising or redness is completely normal and typically fades within 3–7 days.
For general health maintenance, many people follow the Prophetic Sunnah of cupping on the 17th, 19th, or 21st of the Islamic lunar month. For specific conditions, your practitioner will recommend a personalised schedule, typically every 4 to 6 weeks until improvement is achieved.
